- Utah's newest and most thrilling competition - everyone is welcome - all abilities and ages
- TOP 10 routines posted at the top of every hour - final TOP 10 compete at end of show in one exciting FINAL BATTLE
- Judges LIVE FEEDBACK after each routine in Final Battle - informative & inspiring for dancers & spectators alike.
- Judges flown in from all over the country - Fairest, most balanced judging possible - 5 judges score every routine, high and low scores tossed out, average middle 3.
- BATTLE INTENSIVE is a dance class experience different from all the others - no auditions or scholarships (only needs-based)... just sweat, hard work and a positive, fresh and encouraging atmosphere for ALL dancers of ALL abilities.
- Each Team Battle BEST OF SHOW winner gets $1,000 cash, Each Solo Battle BEST OF SHOW winner gets $100 cash, One studio awarded BEST STUDIO for $2,500 towards next year's Battle.
- Judges provide voice feedback and adjudicated awards will be presented to every team

Welcome to the Utah Dance Fest Difference!
For over thirty years, we have been honored to host incredible displays of talent at our events, and we expect no less for our next season of outstanding competitions at Utah Dance Fest!
We care about each dancer at Utah Dance Fest and our greatest concern is the quality of the overall experience for each of them and for our studio directors who make competition experiences possible for their dancers. As former competitive dancers, and now as UDF Directors, we go to great lengths to help dancers maintain a positive, growing experience at our competitions.
The Battle of the Best at Utah Dance Fest is our newest event and we are SO EXCITED about it! It is the most unique and electric event you will ever attend. We feel there is a need for a competition & classes experience that is positive, uplifting and encouraging for all dancers of all levels. We aren't about class competition, auditions or scholarships (just needs-based scholarships) - just a class experience where we dance our hearts out and sweat and work together to become better and remember to find JOY IN THE DANCE! All the competition will be left for the stage where you will experience one of the most exciting & thrilling competitions out there - including LIVE FEEDBACK from our amazing judges during the FINAL BATTLE! Go It is absolutely an event you won’t want to miss!
Utah Dance Fest is one of the classiest and well-run competitions in the regions. At Utah Dance Fest, every solo/duo/trio participant will place within their category and receive one of our famous Utah Dance Fest figurine trophies. Teams are adjudicated and receive Platinum, High Gold, Gold & Best of the Best rankings and Overall Awards based upon ability level, and Grand Champion awards based on age are awarded in every category. Best of Show award is determined by having the TOP 5 scores of the day recompete at the end of the day. Best Studio and Studio Sweeps awards are also awarded. Utah Dance Fest is in a class all it's own. A family and studio favorite for the last 30+ years.
Plan now to register on time so that we can have the time we need to prepare the organized, quality competitions you’ve come to expect from Utah Dance Fest. A 10% late fee will be charged on any registrations accepted after these deadlines. We’re sorry – no exceptions.
